3. Plum Green Tea Gentle Revival Face Scrub- 5/5 ⭐
Let’s start with the packaging. The Plum Green Tea Gentle Revival Face Scrub comes in a simple yet elegant tube that’s easy to squeeze and travel-friendly. The design is clean and refreshing, much like the product itself. I was immediately drawn to the mention of green tea, as it’s known for its numerous skincare benefits.
When I first squeezed a bit of the scrub onto my palm, I noticed its creamy texture with tiny, gentle exfoliating beads. The scent is light and refreshing, with a subtle hint of green tea that feels calming and invigorating at the same time.
As I massaged the scrub onto my face, I could feel the exfoliating beads working their magic. They’re not too rough, just the right amount to slough away dead skin cells without irritating my skin. The scrub feels luxurious and creamy, providing a nice balance of exfoliation and hydration.
After rinsing off the scrub, my skin felt incredibly smooth and fresh. There was no dryness or tightness, just a clean, hydrated feeling. Over the past three months, using it twice a week, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my skin’s texture and brightness. It looks clearer and feels softer, and the green tea seems to help keep those breakouts at bay.
One of the things I love about Plum products is their commitment to clean, natural ingredients, and this scrub is no exception. It’s enriched with green tea extracts, known for their antioxidant properties, and glycolic acid, which gently exfoliates and renews the skin. Plus, it’s free from parabens, sulphates, and harmful chemicals, which is always a big win in my book.
I’ve been using this scrub for a few months now (I switched from Aroma to this), and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. My skin looks brighter and feels smoother, and I’ve noticed fewer breakouts. It’s been a fantastic addition to my skincare routine, and I can’t recommend it enough.
You can purchase this from the link below. Also, 1 tube of 100 ml will last for almost 3.5 to 4 months when used twice a week.
Ingredient List- Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Coco Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betain, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Glyceryl Monostearate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Cellulose Beads, Juglans Regia (walnut) Shell granules, Olive Oil PEG-& Esters, Betaine, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Gluconate, Glycolic Acid, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyglycerin, Fragrance.
Both the above-mentioned products have my whole heart. Not just because of the results, but the moisturizing texture they have to keep the dry skin moisturized and remove the unnecessary oils from oily skin type. They both works amazing on sensitive and acne-prone skin too. Hence, they both are for ALL SKIN TYPES. MUST TRY!!
4. Simple Daily Skin Detox Clear Pore Facial Scrub- 4.5 /5 ⭐
This scrub is designed for oily, pimple-prone, and spot-prone skin, but I’ve found it can work wonders for all skin types.
Let's start with the packaging. This scrub comes in a no-nonsense tube that’s easy to use and store. I appreciate its simplicity and functionality, perfect for my everyday routine.
The scrub itself has a gel-like texture with fine exfoliating particles. It has a refreshing fragrance that’s not overpowering, which I like. As I massage it onto my damp skin, the exfoliating beads gently cleanse and buff away dead skin cells without feeling abrasive. It feels cooling and invigorating on the skin, which is especially nice during warmer months.
After rinsing off the scrub, my skin feels incredibly smooth and clean. There’s no tightness or dryness, just a fresh, revitalized feeling. Over time, I’ve noticed that my skin texture has improved, and it feels softer and more even. It has helped control oil and keep my pores clear, which is crucial for preventing breakouts.
Although this scrub is targeted towards oily and acne-prone skin, I’ve found that it can be used by all skin types. It’s gentle enough not to overly dry or irritate my skin, yet effective in keeping it clear and smooth. Even if you have sensitive skin, this scrub is worth considering, as it’s free from harsh chemicals and artificial perfumes.
I’ve been using the Simple Daily Skin Detox Clear Pore Facial Scrub for several months now, and I’m impressed with its performance. 5. Earth Rhythm Face Scrub with Turmeric & Prickly Pear/ Earth Rhythm Face Scrub with Oatmeal and Ceramides | Lightweight, Removes Grime, Hydrates & Softens - 4/5 ⭐
Well, I have used both the variants of Earth Rhythm Face Scrub, and I have to say, they both work nicely. So, I’m writing the review of both variants together. Personally, I preferred the Oatmeal and Ceramides face scrub (just because of my positive bias towards oatmeal – I love this ingredient). But otherwise, both products are solid 4/5 in my book.
Earth Rhythm Face Scrub with Turmeric & Prickly Pear
This scrub comes in a vibrant, eco-friendly tube with minimalist design that immediately caught my eye. The bright yellow colour from the turmeric and the earthy, fresh scent with a hint of prickly pear make it feel both natural and luxurious. I love how it immediately gives off a vibe of purity and simplicity.
The texture is creamy with fine exfoliating particles that are just right – not too gritty, not too soft. As I massaged it onto my face, I felt the gentle exfoliation working its magic without any harshness. The turmeric gives a slight warming sensation that’s incredibly soothing. It felt like a mini spa session every time I used it.
After rinsing off the scrub, my skin felt soft, smooth, and refreshed. There was a noticeable brightness and a lovely glow to my complexion. Over the three months I used this scrub twice a week, I saw a significant reduction in dullness and an overall improvement in my skin texture. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric, combined with the hydrating benefits of prickly pear, made my skin look healthier and more vibrant.
You can purchase this from the link below. Also, 1 tube of 100 ml will last for almost 3 to 3.5 months when used twice a week.
Ingredient List- Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Glycerine, Coco-Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Curcuma Longa Root Extract, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Prickly Pear, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phthalate Free Fragrance (IFRA Certified).
Earth Rhythm Face Scrub with Oatmeal & Ceramides
The Oatmeal & Ceramides scrub also comes in an eco-friendly tube, but with a more neutral, earthy appearance that feels very comforting. The scent is mild and pleasant, reminiscent of a soothing oatmeal bath – something I absolutely adore.
The texture of this scrub is lightweight and creamy, with finely ground oatmeal providing a gentle exfoliation. As I massaged it onto my face, it felt incredibly soft and comforting, like a hug for my skin. The oatmeal and ceramides worked together to remove grime and impurities without stripping my skin of its natural oils.
After using this scrub, my skin felt deeply hydrated and incredibly soft. There was no tightness or dryness, just a clean, nourished feeling. Over a few months of using it twice a week, my skin felt more hydrated and resilient. The ceramides helped to reinforce my skin’s natural barrier, while the oatmeal soothed and softened my complexion. This scrub is perfect for days when my skin needs a little extra TLC.
You can purchase this from the link below. Also, 1 tube of 100 ml will last for almost 3 to 3.5 months when used twice a week.
Ingredient List- Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Glycerine, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Monostearate, Stearic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol,Sodium Acrylate Acryloyldimethyltaurate Dimethylacrylamide Crosspolymer Isohexadecane Polysorbate 60, Coco-Glucoside, Isopropyl Myristate, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Ceramides, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Disodium EDTA, Carbomer, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Phthalate Free Fragrance (IFRA Certified), Triethanolamine.
Personal Preference
Between the two, I found myself leaning towards the Oatmeal & Ceramides variant. I have a bit of a soft spot for oatmeal – it’s such a comforting and nourishing ingredient. I love how it makes my skin feel deeply hydrated and protected. However, both scrubs are fantastic and bring their own unique benefits to the table.
If you’re deciding between the two, consider what your skin needs most. Are you looking for a radiant glow and refreshed look? Go for the Turmeric & Prickly Pear. Need deep hydration and a gentle touch? The Oatmeal & Ceramides is your best bet. Either way, you can’t go wrong – both are solid 4/5 in my book!
6. Ozone D-Tan Face Scrub | Enriched with Arbutin, Bees Wax & Lactic Acid- 3.5/5 ⭐
The packaging is simple and practical, which I appreciate. It comes in a sturdy tube that’s easy to handle and dispense just the right amount of product. The design is clean, giving off a professional and trustworthy vibe.
The scrub has a creamy texture with fine exfoliating particles. The scent is mild and pleasant, which is a plus for me since I’m not a fan of overly fragranced skincare products. As I massaged it onto my skin, I felt the gentle exfoliation working to slough off dead skin cells without feeling too harsh. The presence of beeswax gives it a slightly emollient feel, making the application smooth and easy.
After using the Ozone D-Tan Face Scrub, my skin feels clean and refreshed. There’s an immediate sense of smoothness and softness, which is lovely. However, I didn’t notice a significant reduction in tan or dark spots over time, which was a bit disappointing given the claims. It does a good job of removing surface impurities and leaving my skin feeling nice, but it didn’t deliver dramatic results in terms of brightening or de-tanning for me.
While the Ozone D-Tan Face Scrub has its benefits, I’d rate it a 3.5/5 because it didn’t fully meet my expectations for a de-tanning product. It’s a decent scrub for regular exfoliation, leaving the skin smooth and hydrated, but if you’re looking for something with more potent brightening effects, this might not be the best choice.
That said, skincare can be quite personal, and what didn’t work perfectly for me might be great for someone else. If you’re looking for a gentle exfoliating scrub that leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed, it’s worth giving this one a try.
You can purchase this from the link below. Also, 1 tube of 100 ml will last for almost 2.75 to 3 months when used twice a week.
Key Ingredients- Barbados Aloe Extracts, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Walnut Power, Wheatgerm Oil and Carrot Seed Oil.
Especially for Men
Well, you were not thinking I forgot you. Though the products I mentioned above are both for men and women there are products specially made for men's skin.
They are worth a try and you should not underestimated them!
FreshhFleshh Tip
There are many other face scrubs that you may wanna give a try but I just didn't feel it putting in my Top 5 List due to some or the other reason.
1. One of the face scrubs you can try is mCaffeine Coffee Tan Removal Face Scrub. I didn't put it in my Top 5 because after 3 to 4 uses my skin felt extremely dry. Of course, this is my experience and yours may differ. But yes, it's worth a try.
2. Good Vibes Choco Coffee Glow Face Scrub- I used this brand at the beginning of my skincare journey 5 years ago, and at that time this brand was quite hyped. And some of its products are quite underrated but this brand still works well for me. I switched just because again, there are better options available. But if you are a newbie, the whole range of Good Vibes Face Scrubs is seriously worth a try!
I just mentioned Choco Coffee in the heading because I am a coffee addict, so I have used a lot of coffee products but for Good Vibes Face Scrubs I take a strong stand because I used this brand for almost 1.5 years with no complaints and I loved my experience.
I am mentioning the product links of the whole range and you can just purchase as per your ingredient preference.
Again I have used this brand for a good 1.5 years and I have used tubs of the products mentioned above of this range. They are sincerely worth a try.
3. Himalaya, Biotique and Everyuth Face Scrubs- If you have no product to choose from, you can go to them but I personally don't recommend these products as I feel their grains are quite hard, especially for dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin types (though market are flooded with these products).
